Vice Presidents Marjorie Golsby

Today we remembered one of our Vice Presidents Marjorie Golsby who has passed away aged 96. Marjorie was for many years Hon Secretary of the Clatterbridge Hospitals League of Friends, as it was then known, handing over the role to her daughter Lindsey Lawrence.

She was also long-standing Chairman of the Ladies committee and took on that position from her sister Barbara Crompton. Supporting the League has very much been a family affair. She was dedicated to tirelessly raising funds for the "Dove Appeal - Buy a brick Campain" for the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Clatterbridge Hospital. It was very fitting therefore that, after the service at Landican Cemetery, there was a Remembrance Service at the Chapel; with both taken by Celebrant Chaplain Rev Jackie Parry from the hospital. RIP Marjorie Nancy Golsby (May 1928 to June 2024).
